8 Guinea Fowl Need Re-Housing In North Yorkshire
The other day I received a comment asking if anyone in the North Yorkshire area wanted any guinea fowl,
Hi
I have eight guineas that I hatched under a Maran hen this year in May/June.
I am unable to keep them anymore and was wondering if you knew anywhere that would take them.
I really would like to avoid them going for somebodys dinner!
Grateful for any suggestions. I think they are two males and six females but am not 100% sure.
I am in North Yorkshire.
Thanks.
Julia would be happy to give the guinea fowl to a good home for a donation to the charity she works for. She lives in the Selby area and the reason she is wanting to re-house the guinea fowl is because she worries that the guinea fowl will wander/fly near to the main road and they are beginning to out grow the house they are in. Julia tells me that the guinea fowl have been housed and also can roost in the trees.
If anyone is interested in re-housing the guinea fowl then leave a comment and I will get Julia to get in touch with you.
Guinea Fowl

Presumably you managed to re-home your Guineas, but in case you have not yet managed, we are near Penrith in Cumbria, but could come over to collect.
Currently we run 3 guineas with our hens, but I particularly enjoy them running around our fields and highlighting any disturbance
Call me if you still require a home for them

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your enquiry. I am sorry that I haven’t replied sooner but have been laid up with flu.
I have emailed julia to check if she still has the guinea fowl. Shall I pass your email address onto her so she can contact you and then you can discuss the guinea fowl.
Hope they are still available for you.
Kind regards
