Wonderful variety of butterflies, Sara. I envy you the comma, speckled wood and wall brown. I only see them if I’m on holiday in warmer areas of Britain. I think they bring a special magic to the garden

Hi Wildlife Gardener,
Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. Until this year I had never seen the speckled wood and the wall brown so I am very lucky.

Sara, What a colourful collection of butterflies. I wish I’d seen that many around our house. What lovely photographs they are. For some reason my favourite is the cabbage white. Trisha

Hi Trisha,
Thanks for visiting and commenting. I think the orchard attracts lots of butterflies as they like to feed on the fruit. I don’t know which is my favourite - maybe the Comma.

Hi Topveg, Thanks for the compliment about the photographs. It is quite hard to photograph butterflies as they don’t want to stay still! Thanks for your visit and comment.

Hi Chris & Laurie,
Yes these butterflies are very pretty - I think we get different butterflies here in the Uk from other countries. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
