Christmas Cactus - Green Thumb Sunday
Here is my beautiful Christmas cactus. A very fitting plant with only a few days to go until Christmas day.
This is the plant that I always remember from childhood. My birthday is in December and my mum and dad have had a Christmas cactus flowering in their house since I was born.
Which plant do you have first recollections of and earliest memories about?

Christmas Christmas Cactus

I love the beautiful fuchia flowers of your Christmas Cactus. It’s my favorite color.
Probably the two flowers I remember from childhood are orange blossoms from the surrounding citrus orchards, and wild roses.
Happy holidys,
Aiyana

Hey Sara, Been a long time since I was last here. Partly due to being without power. I love your Christmas Catus.

Hi Sara, I hope you had a great birthday, or have a great birthday? Lovely cactus, I remember spider plants were all the rage when I was young in the seventies! I hope you have a lovely cosy Christmas on the farm and a very Prosperus New Year in 2008. Louise x

One of my earliest memories is standing at the edge of my mother’s flower bed and staring up at her delphiniums. To a two-year-old, they seemed absolutely ENORMOUS and I was both awed and frightened by them!
