How To Grow Onions Instructions

I planted some red onion sets a few weeks ago and the shoots have just started to appear.

The TopVeg website was able to provide me with excellent onion planting information. 

Farming Friends & TopVeg have now collaborated to create a How To Grow Onions growing card.

I intend to print off copies and then laminate the sheet so that I can use the growing card in the future.

Teachers, children, vegetable growers and anyone interested in growing onions are welcome to print off this growing card for their own use.

  3. hi im looking into being a onion farmer.i need books ,advice on growing the best onions because ive heard their the most hearty/and almost deceise free they need very little pest control e.t.c

    Thanks for your comment and good luck with you onion farming venture. You are wise to do your research before you start. I would contact www.topveg.com for advice as they will know the best onion types to farm and pest control. Topveg is a website about growing vegetables that is written by farmers so they will be able to give good advice.
