Lily Seeds Sown
Soilman kindly sent me some lily seeds (lilium regale) last year and I have recently planted the seeds following Soilman’s excellent instructions.
I have never grown lilies from seed so I look forward to seeing the results. I have just read on Soilman’s site that his seeds have germinated. I am going to head out to the greenhouse now to see what is happening to mine - I’ll let you know.

I’ve never grown lilies from seed either. It will be fun to see how yours do.

I have never grown them from seed, either…I am really interested to know if it works…I wonder if it matters what type of lilly it is?

Hope they work for you, Sara. They’re actually not difficult to grow, provided they have full sun and good drainage in their final planting position; those are the lily’s only demands.

I love lilies, but so do the red lily beetle. Watch out for those, you can’t miss them! x
