Newborn Calves From 2007

Normally we manage to get most of our cows to calve around about the same time but this year the calving period has been more widespread.

Here are pictures of some of the newborn calves and their mothers from this year’s (2007) calving season.

A number of our cows are still yet to calf, so if I can get the shots now that the cows have gone out to grass, I will keep you posted.

  1. Your calves really are spread out! Ours seemed to have come a bit closer for us this year. Although, I think we may have a late comer sometime over the summer.

    thanks for the compliment and the comment. Yes the calving is spread out this year. The last few years we have had most of the cows calve in February but not this year!
