Apples Fruit Nutrition Nutritional Value

What a good bit of information! I once read that if we humans could only eat 1 food for the rest of our lives, apples should be the choice. Granted, we’d die from lack of adequate nutrition, but we’d live longer off apples than Hostess Twinkies!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi BoggyWoggy,
Thanks for dropping by - I am glad you like the information. Your comment is very interesting. I like the sound of hostess twinkies, probably more than apples. I don’t think we get hostess twinkies in the UK or at least I haven’t heard of them.
Thanks for this excellent comment.

Hi Sara, yes apples are very nutritious if you don’t cover them in pastry, top them with crumble mix or smother them with double cream!

Hi Louise,
Yes you do have a good point! Let’s all remember to eat a plain apple with the skin on aswell as indulge ourselves with scrumptious apple puddings.

Hi Sara, yes I do have a balance, I take an apple and pear with me to work every day and eat them with the skins on, I can be good, sometimes!

Hi Louise,
That is very healthy of you. I am not keen on pears before they are cooked. I prefer poached pears. Thanks for visiting again and commenting. Sara @ farmingfriends
