  1. Nice choice for this week’s theme. I would love to keep goats but they are not exactly practical in a small suburban garden! Have a great weekend

  2. That’s great that you love farm animals since you live on a farm. I love farm animals too and I guess amongst the ones you have I’m partial to cattle. There’s something about their eyes that always gets me. I always loved to ride horses although I’ve never owned one. I envied my mother having grown up with grandparents close by where she lived, who had a farm and were able to keep a horse for her. I hope you have a pleasant weekend.

  10. You have a ton of animals. I don’t know how you can tell which cow is which, but then, if you are around them all the time, you would know their demeanors. Great photos and have a good weekend.

  21. My grandma reared pigs, chickens and ducks when I was very young. We were poor and lived in a village. My Mom kept chickens for eggs and only during New Year and festive seasons did we get to eat a chicken.

  49. Hi Photo Hunters,
Thanks to you all for your great comment and for visiting my site. i was very honoured for tnchick to name me site of the day so thanks tnchick. As you can see I love the farm animals and I don’t really have any favourites amongst them. They are all special in their own ways.
Mark asked why I called my guinea pig Guiness well mark, I think that Guiness is male and the drink is quite a blokey drink although I do drink it myself on occasions! I also thought that it would be easy to remember as it sounds like Guinea from Guinea Pig.
    Thanks for all your comment.
