The theme for the photo hunt this week is important, so what is important on the farm?
The crops are very important.
Not only do the crops earn the farmers money, but the crops feed the animals on the farm and in turn make food that feeds the farmer!

Thank you for posting such an informative take on this week’s theme. I’ve often seen American recipes which include canola and had no idea it just meant rapeseed oil. Have a lovely weekend!

OILSEED RAPE / CANOLA is also very pretty. We like to eat so we agree that the crops are very IMPORTANT.

I miss the yellow of the rape fields, which were everywhere where I grew up. I think that there must have been some EU subsidy.

Those are certainly all important crops! Great collection of photos. We see a lot of canola growing in the farms surrounding the Munich area.

Your crops are important to us too! I think most of us rely on your produce.
My Photo hunt post on As the Garden Grows is a little bit like yours as I talk about how growing veggies and fruit in my “flower” garden is important to us as there’s nothing like fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, raspberries and so on picked fresh from the garden is there?
