What a great comment you have left me on this visit. Thanks. I was interested to hear about the mother calling for the chick and the size of the chicks. Our when they were born had bodies the size of bumble bees!

					<description>We have 'wild' quail living in our neighborhood, and  one spring my daughter(then 10) and I saw some babies running across the veggie garden, they were the size of little fluffy golf balls! One fell into a cinderblock, and couldn't get out, so we gently got it out and sent it on it's way (we could hear the mother in a nearby bush, calling out an alarm)</description>
