One fell into a cinderblock, and couldn't get out, so we gently got it out and sent it on it's way (we could hear the mother in a nearby bush, calling out an alarm) We have ‘wild’ quail living in our neighborhood, and one spring my daughter(then 10) and I saw some babies running across the veggie garden, they were the size of little fluffy golf balls!
