Snowdrops - Green Thumb Sunday

I noticed the first snowdrops began to emerge on the 18th January this year.

I love to see the carpets of snowdrops along the hedgerows and in my orchard. One year my husband gave me a bunch of snowdrops for Valentine’s day and he even arranged them in a heart shape in the vase!

  2. Snap…That husband of yours really spoils you, snowdrops in a heart shape, shovels for mucking out the pigs, were will it all end. I wonder what he will do this year????

    Hi Mark,
I knew you would have snowdrops on your site as well. They are such a beautiful flower and a sign that spring is on the way. Thanks for your regular comments.

  5. I only have three clumps of snowdrops, I want more. My dad is going to give me some of his clumps in the green, he has many growing up through his lawn. I love them and would have lots around the garden, but they are very expensive to buy in this form. x
