The Lavender Guinea Fowl

The lavender coloured guinea fowl is one of the three original colours of the guinea fowl. Here is Camilla the guinea fowl who is a lavender coloured guinea fowl.

  1. Is the color natural, or do they turn purple because they eat purple shrimp! Ha, ha! My hair is purple right now. I lost a bet with my class. However, your fowl are much prettier!

    Yes the colour is natural! No sitting in the hairdressers with dye on their feathers for the guinea fowl!
    I love the guinea fowl plumage it is so pretty. I am hoping that I can start to expand my flock and buy in some different coloured guinea fowl because there are now over 18 different colours.
