Wooden Reindeer Garden Ornament - Green Thumb Sunday

Wooden Reindeer Garden OrnamentThis wooden reindeer garden ornament is one of my favourite possessions and it resides in our orchard all year long. The reindeer was made for me by my husband as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and is the perfect gift. As villagers walk up and down the lane they will often admire my reindeer and Stephen now has orders for more reindeers.

Do you have any special garden ornaments?

  2. I really like your reindeer. The simplicity and the skill of using the natural shape of the wood to create the essence of reindeer does it for me.

  3. I love your reindeer and have always wanted one like that. I have lots of garden ornaments, but alas, they are all packed away for the winter now.

What a lovely gift your husband gave you.
I love it with snow on it.

  6. Hi Sara, Steve is very clever, to make pieces of log and twigs look like a reindeer is ingenious, I can imagine everyone wanting one, if I lived near you I would want one too. x

  7. Hi Sara,
Last Sunday I was unable to access your site, and this continued till yesterday. I have this trouble with several other sites. Wish I knew the problem! Anyway, I’ve always loved those reindeer logs. They are popular here at Christmastime, but sure look out of place. They really need a dusting of snow–just like yours!
